808 Showcase is a locally owned collectibles and hobby store offering a dynamic retail and community space for collectors and enthusiasts of all ages. 808 Showcase specializes in buying, selling, and trading, collectable cards, including Pokémon, One Piece, Gundam, and Lorcana, and is an official Pokémon tournament store, hosting weekly in-store tournaments. In addition to collectibles, the shop will carry playing cards, apparel, accessories for card play, and University of Hawaiʻi apparel, creating a vibrant hub for both hobbyists and casual shoppers.
808 Showcase will celebrate its official grand opening on Friday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m., kicking off with a Chinese lion dance performance by the Hawaiian Lion Dance Association, followed by a ribbon cutting at opening. The celebration will also feature live entertainment by @mistahrebel, in-store giveaways, and opportunities for guests to take photos with Charizard and Pikachu characters.
